Preparing and Administering Leuprolide (As Ovulation Trigger)

Note: The following instructions are for administering Leuprolide Acetate as a single ovulation trigger injection.

Be sure to have all of the following items before you begin:

  • One multiple dose vial of Leuprolide Acetate 2.8ml.
  • One syringe marked in units.
  • Alcohol swabs.
  • Sterile gauze.
  • and Safety container.

Check that the Leuprolide Acetate is clear and colorless. Do not use if the solution is cloudy, discolored or contains particles.
